How did this start?
First responders struggled to reach a call because the road was full of potholes, eroded curves, and old ditches. This was dangerous for both responders and residents. What if people can’t get out when they need help, or EMS and firefighters can’t reach them?
How you can help!
A devoted firefighter with a big heart and a clear sense of mission from the Lord made it possible to give a local road a much-needed “makeover.” With coordination and support from local first responders, Da Family MC, Hells Angels MC, BMC, PACE and Lion Mark - Justin Schengbier helped turn a hazardous stretch into a safer route for everyone who travels it.
This simple act of kindness revealed to Between the White Lines that the need is greater than a one-time effort — it’s a cause that should be sustained for years to come.
