Between the White Lines is a 501(c)3 created after the tragic death of Lyndon Ebker, a MoDOT worker. His incident shed light on the need to advocate for others in similar situations.

The Mission:

Improve roadway, utility, and emergency zone safety and awareness across the state of Missouri.

Our highway workers and emergency responders do their part to keep the highways safe for us, let’s do our part to keep the highways safe for them.

Between the White Lines was formed to support everyone…

Highway workers - city, county, state, private

Utility workers - phone, electric, tree trimmers

Emergency responders - towing, EMT, firefighters, law enforcement.

…making us different from any other organization. We are the ones who stand up for these hardworking individuals. If their boots hit the pavement to complete their job, they are our people.

This will help motorist see them as more than “highway workers,” my hope is they will see them as “mothers, fathers, grandparents, friends, etc.”
